Katydid Foundation, Inc.

As the parent of an adult daughter with autism, I know what it’s like to enter the murky waters of adult services. Like all other aspects of caring for someone on the autism spectrum, finding services is a constant challenge. Now as founder and president of the Katydid Foundation Inc., a nonprofit that runs a unique program for autistic adults, my mission is to help others navigate the complex world of “adult services.” The Katydid story is unique, but there are many other success stories out there. I invite you to share your successes, failures, and concerns. Hopefully this blog and Web site will act as a clearinghouse of information about housing, funding, staffing and future planning for all of us.
